Docklands to deliver transformation of city
28th July 2016
The docklands in Cork city are set to be transformed by a new development including offices, apartments, a hotel, and shops in a site owned by CIE.
CIE will partner with BAM Ireland and Clarendon Properties to build on a six acre site on Horgan’s Quay, adjacent to Kent Station.
The development is likely to have a “feature building” on the quayside, and the site will be developed for a mix of uses.
It is expected that offices will be developed for multinational firms looking for space in Cork, along with apartments and leisure facilities, including a hotel. Shops and other services may also feature in the mix.
